Monika's Garden Art Show and Sale

Proud to be part of a Signature Event during Hamilton Arts Week, June 2-9, 2018!!

My 14th annual garden show and sale in my backyard and studio! See my art in its natural environment. Pottery and felted work will be on display and for sale. I will also have a seconds table, so come early for great bargains! Rain or shine.

Click here for a map to my location. All are welcome. Bring friends. Enjoy a lovely drive through the countryside.

Art Demonstrations all weekend! Come see how it's made!

With Guest Artists:

Lou Hanson, pottery
Lou has whimsical garden totems, and gorgeous floral blessing bowls.

Chandra Rice, Jewellery, Weaving, Glass, Wood, Metal
Chandra uses many materials - fibre, glass, wood, metal - to explore the joys of making. A good day is when the materials come alive in her hands, and her mind relaxes into the process. She will be bringing a selection of hand-bound journals, wire and resin jewellery, hand dyed scarves, glass and hand printed lino cut cards.

Angie Turkulja, the Artful Blingster, creates handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewellery, with the focus to creating something that is as strikingly unique and versatile as the woman who will wear it.

Michael Sheppard, wood carving
Michael has been working with wood for most of his life but has been carving for over 30 years. He has won the Best in Category award in many international wood carving competitions, specializing in birds of prey and song birds.

ALSO NOTE: The same weekend, the Artists in the Country have their spring show, just 4 KM west of us and 4KM east of us, the Escarpment Artists have their spring show. SO within 8 km you can see 30 artists in 3 studios!!

NEWS FLASH!! The Sleepy Hollow Studio Tour in downtown Waterdown is also joining us for this weekend with 5 studios and 13 artists to see. Download a map of all 4 group locations here. Only 8 stops and you can see 42 artists!

A BONUS for those of you who are still reading... Cascata Bistro in "downtown Carlisle", is offering a 15% discount to those who dine there for lunch or dinner during the tour. To get the discount, mention you are "on the tour, and would like the tour discount" to your server! So make a day of it, drop in on a bunch of studios, stop for a lovely Cascata lunch, then hit some more studios. And on Sunday, repeat! ;)
