Yarn Bowls

What a fun way to keep your yarn from running away!

Each bowl in hand thrown on a potters wheel and the swirl and holes are hand cut. The bases of each are left purposely heavy so they are very stable.

some have messages on the bottom

some have messages on the inside

some have messages on the side…

some are fun

some are funky

some are, um, gross….

ooooh la la!

Stitch Markers

These tiny porcelain markers are beautifully made with care. Many shapes and patterns to choose from.

A knitter can never have enough stitch markers!! These well packaged markers make FABULOUS gifts for the knitter in your life! These are pretty and will have you reaching for them for each new project. The hardest part will be deciding which sets to use!

So many choices! How can you pick just one?

Each set comes on an attractive card that explains the making process on the inside, and is protected in a cello bag.

These flowers are all hand painted with glaze, and patterns also added individually. No two are exactly alike!

The bees have all been hand-drawn individually on every marker. No stencils or stamps are used.

WIP shot of sorting markers into sets, after attaching rings. Ready for packaging.

I probably wouldn’t recommend using quite this many for a project, but its a fun shot!

NEW: Double sided stitch markers that also have instruction codes on the back. 4 set variations are currently available:

Option 1: 2 markers each of MIR (make one right) and MIL (Make 1 left), and one marker BoR (beginning of round/row) - for when you are adding stitches to rows

Option 2: 2 markers each of SSK (skip, skip, knit) and K2Tog (Knit 2 together), and one marker BoR (beginning of round/row) - for when you’re dropping stitches

Option 3: 1 marker each of MIR (make one right) and MIL (Make 1 left), SSK (skip, skip, knit) and K2Tog (Knit 2 together) and one marker BoR (beginning of round/row) - to cover all the bases

Option 4: Two markers each of MIR (make one right) and MIL (Make 1 left), SSK (skip, skip, knit) and K2Tog (Knit 2 together) and one marker BoR (beginning of round/row) - for complicated patterns

Porcelain Shawl Rings with Copper Pins

Each ring is individually crafted from a slab of clay to which I’ve added texture. The edges have been smoothed so nothing will snag your shawl or scarf, and after the first firing, each one is hand painted with glaze. The copper pins are shaped by me from heavy copper wire, then hammered and some have been given a patina as well. Each one is completely unique!

They come in 4 sizes: Large, Medium, Small and “Adorably Teeny”

And of course BUTTONS!

Every project deserves a beautiful handmade button!

I make literally thousands of buttons each year.

So. Many. Buttons….

The selection is ever changing, but there’s lots of variety in size, shape, colour, style… check them out! These are not listed in my online shop, so you’ll have to come and visit the studio to choose the perfect ones for your project!

WIP. They’ve been cut out here and the holes cut in. Each one is made individually. (yep, I’m a bit nuts…)

Many an evening is spent wiring buttons to cards

This is just half of one side of my button display! (These teeny ones are perfect for those baby sweaters…)
